After graduating from St. Mary's University School of Law in 2012, I have represented clients from all over the world, including Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Australia, United Kingdom, Somalia, South Africa, Israel, Jordan, China, South Korea, India, Pakistan, and Nepal, to name a few. My practice includes nearly all aspects of immigration law, including deportation defense, family visas, work visas, adjustment of status, and naturalization. I also routinely handle immigration appeals, including appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), as well as Petitions for Review and Writs of Habeas Corpus in the federal courts.

Although Maria Maldonado was born in Mexico, she was raised in Dallas, Texas, and is a proud first-generation American. Although Maria works and lives in Dallas, she has deep family ties in Guanajuato. Since graduating from the University of North Texas Dallas in 2019, Maria has spent the last several years assisting our clients in a variety of immigration matters, including family-based green card cases, deportation defense cases, provisional waivers, and consular processing cases. As a permanent resident and former DREAMER, Maria's own immigration journey has allowed her a unique perspective that has shaped how she assists our clients by enabling them to realize their own American dream. Outside of work, Maria enjoys enjoys spending time with her family and listening to true crime podcasts.
